Jonah 2

In week two of At the Movies, we paired Jonah 2 with the film Cast Away. Just as Chuck Noland found himself stranded and alone on a deserted island, Jonah found himself in a place of total isolation—inside the belly of a great fish. Yet it was there, in the darkness, that Jonah cried out to God and discovered that no situation is too hopeless for His mercy to reach.

This message explored how God hears us in our lowest moments, how prayer can become our lifeline, and how surrender leads to rescue and renewal.
