We kicked off At the Movies with the first chapter of Jonah and Pixar’s Finding Nemo. Just like Marlin tried to swim as far as possible to protect himself and his son, Jonah tried to run as far as possible from what God had called him to do. But as we saw, you can’t outswim God’s purpose—no matter how far or fast you go.

This week’s message unpacked what happens when we run from God, how His pursuit is always motivated by love, and why surrendering to His plan brings true peace.
