Building Use Agreement:
The kitchen is available as a warming kitchen only for crock pots, roasters, coffee makers, and similar appliances. Cooking or full meal preparation is not allowed in the kitchen. All dishes with food residue must be cleaned in the designated food prep sink at the back of the kitchen. Please ensure all kitchen equipment is turned off and stored properly after use.
Cleanup Responsibilities:
Users must clean up after their event and remove all trash from the premises. This includes ensuring that any spills are promptly wiped up, and all food items are properly disposed of. All areas used should be returned to their original condition. Vacuum, broom, trash bags, and other necessary materials are available in the kitchen or meeting space being used. Users are responsible for removing any decorations or items brought in for the event.
Release and Indemnity Agreement:
This agreement is made between the above-named renter (“Renter”) and The Foundation Church (“Church”). By signing this agreement, the Renter acknowledges and agrees to the following:
The Renter releases, discharges, and agrees not to sue the Church, its leadership, members, volunteers, or employees for any claims, losses, or damages arising from its use of the property. In the event that any guest, participant, or affiliate of the Renter files a claim against the Church or its representatives, the Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold them harmless from all related expenses, including but not limited to legal fees, losses, and damages.
The Renter confirms it carries general liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $500,000 per occurrence. This insurance must be in place for the duration of the event. Upon request, the Renter will provide proof of coverage, and if required, the Church will be added as an additional insured on the Renter’s policy. Failure to provide proof of insurance may result in the cancellation of the event.
Acceptance of Responsibility
By signing below, I understand and agree to be responsible for the conduct of all individuals attending this event. This includes ensuring compliance with the Church’s Rules and Regulations and being accountable for any damage beyond normal wear and tear to the building or its contents. I will remove any signs, decorations, or items posted by my group after the event and ensure that all areas used are cleaned and returned to their original condition. I also acknowledge and accept the terms of the Release and Indemnity Agreement stated above, and I am responsible for ensuring that all event participants understand these guidelines.
